Idabel Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture
For over 60 years the Idabel Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture has been the information hub of Idabel. When citizens and visitors seek information on local businesses, tourism, education and housing, the Chamber is there with a friendly greeting to assist them. Our goal is to provide a networking environment with business and community.
What Does the Chamber Do?
- Welcomes visitors and potential newcomers to the area with a relocation packet, and makes information available at the information center in the Chamber building.
- Works full-time to promote local businesses and tourism. The Chamber is the only organization to do so.
- Responds to information requests from outside the community.
- Welcomes new businesses with a Red Ribbon Greeting and goodwill visits.
- Works closely with city officials and the Main Street program to help create a business-friendly environment.
- Refers only Chamber-member businesses to the thousands of inquiries received each year.
- Provides name recognition of members with listings in the membership directory, newsletter, Chamber website, and in the information display area.
- Works with a local insurance agent to offer members Chamber Blue health insurance.
- Sponsors a variety of special events throughout the year in support of community pride and Warrior spirit.
- Makes available, at no cost to members, the beautiful Chamber facilities for special events and board meetings.

Like the Board of Directors, this group is very diverse in order to represent the greater student body.
